SPXport (SDL Package Xport) is a tailor-made tool for the translation industry, now in version 1.6.4 after years of continuous updates and improvements. This application streamlines key operations for Trados Studio packages (.sdlppx files), making workflows more efficient, user-friendly, and, above all, significantly faster.
SPXport enables users to load a Trados Studio Package and extract its contents with ease. One of its key features is the ability to view the Analyze file, offering quick project statistics on translatable text by choosing from words, sentences, or characters via a convenient dropdown menu.
Additionally, it allows individual downloading of both source (untranslated) and target (translated) files, and provides an easy way to convert translation memories into the widely used .TMX format (1.4b norm). SPXport also supports multi-selection of translation memories, enabling quick operations like Zip and Download or Merge and Download—all executed instantly. Furthermore, the application converts and downloads TermBase files (.sdltb) into the universal .CSV format.
